Conveyors and indexers designed around your part flow.
Part flow designed around your process, as part of a complete cell. We build conveyors and indexers to move, hold, present and count parts between operations, not as a catalogue item.

What we build
GSD Automation designs and builds conveyors and indexing systems for manufacturers across the island of Ireland. Most are built as part of a cell or line we are delivering, and are designed to present the part exactly where the next station needs it.
- Belt, modular and pallet conveyors
- Rotary and linear indexers for multi-station machines
- Buffer, accumulation and queuing stations
- Box-filling, counting and packing stations
- Guides, stops, lifts and part orientation
Designed around the process
A conveyor only earns its place when it feeds the next operation correctly. We design the flow first: how parts arrive, how they are oriented, how many need to be buffered and what happens when a downstream station stops. The conveyor or indexer is then specified to that flow, with the sensors and controls to run it safely.
Indexers for multi-station machines
Rotary and linear indexers carry a part through a sequence of stations on one machine. We design the index table, the nests and the station layout together, so the dial or shuttle, the fixtures and the controls are one coordinated system.
What you receive
Mechanical design, electrical design in SolidWorks Electrical, PLC programming, build, testing and installation are done in-house. The proposal states the throughput, the parts handled and the documents you receive at handover.
Questions we are asked
Do you supply standalone conveyors?+
Yes, where a conveyor or indexer is the whole job. Most of our conveyor work is part of a larger cell, but a buffer station or an indexer for an existing machine is a practical first project.
Can you connect to our existing conveyors or machines?+
Yes. We survey the existing equipment, agree the interface and handshake signals with you, and design the new section to match.
What do you need to quote a conveyor or indexer?+
The part, the throughput, where parts come from and go to, the space available and what the next station needs. Photos or a layout drawing help.
